Never Ceases To Amaze Me
A clip of a beauty shop in Hamtramck. Who'd a thunk? One of those women looks like my dads cousin Eleanor! And it probably is her as that is where they all lived in those days. You just never know what you're gonna find on this site.

What a wonderful film, lot's of memories
My mom had a beauty shop in the front of our house from 1938 through the 70's. This film is exactly what it looked like in the early years. I especially liked seeing the old heated permanent wave machine. It looks like some invader from Mars with tentacles.
